REBRAND
Opal & Jaye Photography is fun-loving and kitschy, so we wanted to touch on that with the color palette and overall look and feel of the type treatment. Kate’s photos are bright, retro and beautiful, highlighting objects as well as the love between the individuals she is shooting. We wanted to capture that personal touch without over-stylizing.

Retro, kitschy, sentimental… all three of these words speak to the brand Opal & Jaye Photography. Kate, the talented photographer behind O&J, wanted her website to reflect these ideas–also by highlighting her grandmother, whom the brand is named after. We wanted to stylize the site in a way that evoked these feelings but did not take away from her beautiful photography.
BREAKDOWN
I took an audit of the original site and presented a revised user journey. Created high-level mock ups and then applied to her site via injected code and additional customization.
